From the team - David Apostolidis

As a local resident of Waterloo I love the convenience and diversity of the area. To get around, I mostly walk or cycle, but it’s not as easy as it could be. We have a real opportunity to make travel easier and more enjoyable so locals and visitors can experience the amazing diversity and character of the area.
I moved back to Sydney in 2011 after a few years working overseas in a couple of vastly different places. While in Abu Dhabi I had the opportunity to work on a number of large projects and during a stint in Canada I was responsible for local government policy on affordable and safe housing.
I have been working in the industry for close to 15 years, but this is the first opportunity I have had to work on a project with so much potential to impact my own day-to-day life.
I think the area already has so many great things to offer, but it has even more untapped potential. In the future I’m really looking forward to an even more vibrant street life that will help make the area cleaner, safer and support local business.
I’d like to think that what I learnt internationally, combined with being a local, brings a genuine perspective on the transformation of the area to the team and I am really excited about it!
